03 · Setup & admin
Set up the way your community works.
While we're in early access, we do the setup with you. Committee admins can already manage contacts and see analytics in the console.
1Community account
Name, address and committee admins. Every community sees only its own data.
2Roster & roles
Staff, their roles (Security, Plumber, Electrician, STP, or your own) and shift timings. Change them in your sheet, or just message us.
3Meters
Each meter's name, number of digits and a reference photo, so every reading is checked and lands in the right column.
4Gate & rules
Your gate location for punch-in checks, and how readings are confirmed.
Admin console: committee admins sign in with WhatsApp (no password) to manage staff and committee contacts, tags and groups, and to see water usage and reading analytics. Open the console. Meters, settings and invoices are coming next; until then, any change is one WhatsApp message away.

Your committee chooses at sign-up and can switch any time. Please ask staff to photograph only the meter.
Paying
UPI AutoPay, card or net banking through Razorpay, a secure Indian payment gateway. Monthly, and you can cancel before any renewal. We never see your card or bank details.
Statements
A monthly statement on WhatsApp listing the plan, add-ons and photos read. GST invoices once applicable.

Things people ask us.
Do staff need to install an app?
No. Everything happens inside WhatsApp. Staff tap the pinned link once, then use the buttons in the chat.
Does the bot join our WhatsApp group?
No. WhatsApp doesn't allow business accounts in regular groups. Your admin pins a link, and tapping it opens a private chat with punchCard. Your group stays exactly as it is.
Where does our data live?
In a Google Sheet for your community that your committee can view and export, plus the systems we need to run the service. Our privacy notice has the details.
What if the AI reads a meter wrong?
Every reading is checked: digit count, never lower than the last reading, no strange jumps. Then staff confirm it with one tap or type the right number.
Can we change staff, roles or meters later?
Any time. Staff and committee contacts can be changed in the console; for meters and roles, just message us for now.
How do we pay, and can we stop?
UPI AutoPay, card or net banking via Razorpay, billed monthly. Cancel before the next renewal and you won't be charged again.
